Postavitev: Prazna deska 10×10 leži med igralcema. Eden vzame svetle, drugi temne figure. Katedrala leži ob strani — postavi jo bo prvi igralec.
Setup: Empty 10×10 board between players. One takes light pieces, the other dark. The Cathedral piece sits to the side — the first player will place it.

The game proceeds in three steps:

2. Alternating placement: The second player goes next, then players alternate. On each turn you must place one piece from your supply onto the board — you cannot skip or move pieces.

3. Claiming territory: When you completely enclose an area with your pieces (containing no opponent's pieces), that area becomes yours. Opponent's pieces within are returned to their hand.
Igra se konča, ko noben igralec ne more več postaviti nobene figure. Vsak prešteje skupno število polj figur, ki jih ni uspel postaviti. Zmaga tisti z manj nepostavljenimi polji.
The game ends when neither player can place any more pieces. Each player counts the total squares of pieces they could not place. The player with fewer unplaced squares wins.
